Marvel Comic Books: Wolverine And The X-Men #6 Recap

The issue begins in the future.  Idie, younge and Quintin are standing on a decayed jean grey school. They meet an aged wolverine and future quire wielding the phoenix force. Logan and future quire does not exactly see eye to eye. Future quire explains how Evan will one day start to go his own way and the xmen will disapprove. Only future quire can stop him but Idie stands by his side. She will one day be his horseman death. But old man logan ended up killing Evan sabanur. The heroes discover that the future Quintin is the one responsible for the phoenix corporation and sent faithful john to kill Evan in the past.

Idie tries to reason with him but was met with hostility. Even wolverine is no match for the host of the phoenix.

But young quire does something he does not expect. Quintin will take his own life if it means he can stop his older self. This small distraction gave wolverine ample time to stab him through the back.  Idie finishes off the job by stabbing him in the front with the phoenix blade.

Present day, inside fantomex’s artificial world, faithful john is held captive. He tells fantomex that he can’t be held for long. But his threats fall on deaf ears. The Frenchman offers john to doop to do as he will.

Jean grey school. The faculty meeting is interrupted by a helicopter arriving on the grounds to pick up Quintin quire. With young’s absence, and faithful john locked up in the world, Quintin quire is now the new owner of the phoenix corporation. A billion dollar industry.

Whats goin on guys, welcome to comic island, my name is joey and today we are reviewing and recapping wolverine and the xmen issue 6.

So the first thing i noticed when reading the first few pages was the weird expressions on Quintin quires face. I have no clue why he looks like this. Also, since when did the future Quintin turn into a bad guy? Last time we checked, we met future Quintin during the battle of the atom event and he seems to be amongst the future xmen. He was a good guy.

Now he is the bad guy that sent back faithful john to kill Evan? And future Quintin is now also dead? O god its this time travel paradox all over again. My head hurts lol.

New Comics: Death Of Wolverine 1 Of 4. 

So this might be off topic a bit but you guys have been requesting me to cover the death of wolverine coming very soon and that being said, he dies in like a month or 2 from now. Whats gunna happen to this issue series when his name is on the front page? Ever since issue 1, this series has been building up to Evan sabanur versus Quintin quire. And even though i dislike the time travel, i do like the ending.

Now we got quire, fed up with the school, and with billions of dollars at his disposal, leaving to do who knows what. But Evan has been a very obedient student that listens to his uncle cluster. So without wolverine, they might as well call this series, Quintin quire versus Evan sabanur.

So in conclusion, issue 6 was just ok. Weak beginning, disappointing mid but i did enjoy the ending.
